Keane took the Black Cats to Forest last month in a pre-season friendly and would accept a repeat of the 1-0 scoreline in that match.

Premier League teams not involved in Europe were put into the draw after the 's first-round matches with several being handed potentially awkward ties to be played later this month.

Newcastle will be away to Coventry, top-flight newcomers Hull go to Swansea and
Middlesbrough must tackle Coca-Cola League One Yeovil at home.

Elsewhere Hartlepool host West Brom, Macclesfield have a trip to West Ham and
Manchester City - who qualified for the UEFA Cup due to their disciplinary record but are not exempt from second-round duties - face a long trip to Brighton.

Blackburn will be at home to Grimsby, Wigan will welcome Notts County and
Fulham host Leicester. Bolton have a home tie against Northampton.

The matches will be played in the week commencing August 25 except Manchester
