Keegan rules out Newcastle return

Kevin Keegan said it was unlikely he would ever return to Newcastle as manager.

The former England boss was mentioned as a possible director of football when Mike Ashley took control of the club, but the 56-year-old said: 'It's absolutely impossible to give Sam Allardyce a job at Newcastle and then go and fetch someone who's going to be some sort of threat. It doesn't work. My life's gone in a different direction.'
