Keeping prospect Stech happy to learn from the old hands at the Hammers

Marek Stech is enjoying life at , having signed a new five-year deal.

The Czech goalkeeper, 18, said: 'In training, Robert Green and Jimmy Walker talk to me about how I can do better.

'Ludo Miklosko is also helping me and it’s good to hear all of this.'

Stech made his first first-team debut in a friendly against Southampton on August 1 and started again in the friendly at Ipswich on Monday night.

West Ham this week signed Czech goalkeeper Jan Lastuvka on a season-long loan from Shakhtar Donetsk

Lastuvka, 26, successfully completed a medical over the weekend and will provide back-up to Hammers number one Robert Green.
