What do you think of your new Sunderland home, Kieran?
Scroll down to read more:
"I'm used to a massive stadium and massive crowds at Manchester United. There's not really that much difference coming here. The fans are passionate about the game."
Kieran is looking apprehensive. After all, he's effectively been evicted from the Old Trafford house, voted out by Sir Alex Ferguson. Now he has to satisfy Big Brother in the shape of Sunderland manager Roy Keane.
What are your impressions of Big Roy?
"He's a winner. I think he can get the best out of me. He can push you beyond what you think you can achieve.
"At United I saw him close up, the way he acted in training and in games. You could tell straight away he was the leader, everyone looked up to him. He commands that respect here.
"He had the highest standards of anyone I've ever played with. If you were slacking he'd tell you. That was why he was captain of Manchester United for such a long time."
Is there anything from your old home you won't miss?
"I'm not part of Sir Alex's lashings anymore but I didn't see very many of those. Hopefully I won't get any from my new gaffer."
Do you have any aims beyond playing for Sunderland?
"When I was at West Brom, I played 12 games on the bounce and got my England call-up. You can't expect to play for England when you're sitting on the bench at United. But if I can hold down a regular place here and do well, you never know."
The clock is ticking, Kieran is fidgeting. Training beckons.
And finally, what do you think of your cousin Charley constantly dropping your name on Channel 4?
"No comment! That's not football related."
Thank you Kieran, you're free to go. Don't be late. Big Brother is watching.
