Fit: Frank Lampard and Avram Grant
Keeper Petr Cech did not travel after failing to recover from the ankle injury which has kept him out of the last seven games.
Lampard trained yesterday before boarding the flight to Istanbul and he will return to the team for what promises to be a hostile environment.
Fenerbahce fans have posted video messages on YouTube promising Chelsea that 'You will burn in Hell' at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium tomorrow.
Despite the predictable nature of the threats, both clubs insist they will not be taking any increased security measures.
Although Chelsea are expected to progress to play either Arsenal or Liverpool, Avram Grant's side are facing one of Europe's emerging sides.
Fenerbahce have a heavy Brazilian influence and coach Zico, whose side beat Inter Milan, Sevilla and PSV at home in the group stages, has an impressive pedigree.
The Brazilian, once described by Pele as the world's greatest player, won the Turkish title in his first season at the club.
He is best remembered as a player with the Brazil team at the 1982 World Cup and Chelsea midfielder Joe Cole revealed: "I loved him as a player. I used to have his picture as the screen saver on my computer.
"He was a top player, one of the best. I have loads of videos of him. Now he's proving himself to be a top manager, too."
