Lee the key in Spurs bid for PSV's goalkeeper Gomes

Tottenham hope Young-Pyo Lee will make the difference in their negotiations with PSV Eindhoven over goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes.
Spurs have still to reach an agreement with PSV for the Brazilian, but are confident the Dutch club's interest in South Korea defender Lee will secure the deal.
Makeweight: Tottenham Hotspur's Young-Pyo Lee, pictured keeping tight to Arsenal's Theo Walcott, could be the dealmaker for Spurs
The situation has been complicated by the fact Gomes's representatives Vlado Lemic and Renato Gaucho had it written into his contract when he joined from Cruzeiro in 2004 that they would get a percentage of the transfer should he be sold to a foreign club.
Lee, who has one year left on his contract, has been told he can leave White Hart Lane and he is keen on a return to former club PSV.
PSV had been hoping to get as much as £12million for Gomes, but are now prepared to accept £8m plus 31-year-old Lee in exchange.
