Leeds left waiting to know if 15-point penalty will be overturned

Leeds will know at the end of this month whether the 15-point penalty imposed on the club by the Football League will be overturned.

An independent tribunal will convene again for a fourth day on Monday and the outcome will be revealed by May 1 at the latest — after fears it could stretch to May 19.

Waiting: Leeds chairman Ken Bates

Several promotion rivals — including Doncaster — have already threatened legal action depending on the outcome, which could result in Leeds moving into the automatic promotion places.
