Leicester close to naming new boss

The Foxes have been without a permanent boss since Gary Megson left the club to take over at Bolton on October 24.
Mandaric, who bought the Coca-Cola Championship club in a £25million-plus deal in February, last week began conducting interviews to find the fifth manager of his short reign with Graeme Souness, Joe Royle, Peter Reid and Jean Tigana reportedly among the interviewees.
Mandaric has vowed to step up his search following Saturday's dismal home defeat to Burnley which was caretaker manager Frank Burrows' first loss in four league games since being placed in temporary charge following Megson's departure.
Mandaric hopes to have a new man at the helm when the Foxes resume their Championship campaign at Bristol City on November 24.
"We need to sort it out quickly - over the next week or 10 days during this break," Mandaric told the club's official website, www.lcfc.co.uk.
"We need a manager to come in and sort us out and get us on a winning streak and that must happen immediately.
"I will keep working on the shortlist to get someone on board who can do that."
Mandaric admitted that as well as holding talks with managers who are out of work, he has also sought permission from clubs to speak to people who are currently in jobs.
Coventry's Iain Dowie, who was a target for Mandaric earlier this year when he completed his takeover at the Walkers Stadium, and Iain Holloway at Plymouth have been linked.
Mandaric refused to name potential targets but added: "It is difficult to get a good manager as they are all at clubs.
"But we are approaching clubs confidentially. I will not do it publicly as I do not want to destabilise those clubs because that is not fair."
