Magilton poised to swoop for Fulham's unsettled Healy

Ipswich boss Jim Magilton could try to sign Fulham striker David Healy on loan until the end of the season after being snubbed by Portsmouth's David Nugent.

Magilton agreed terms with Pompey last week and was waiting for Nugent to regain full fitness after an abductor injury.

But after the 22-year-old striker failed to return a series of calls, Magilton said: 'David Nugent can go and play for whoever he wants now.

'The very least we deserve is a phone call or something to suggest he's not available.'
