Man Utd-bound Manucho shocks Senegal with a double

Manchester United-bound Manucho scored two goals in the second half and Flavio added another to lead Angola to a shock 3-1 win over Senegal in the Africa Cup of Nations.

Manucho, who is waiting for a work permit before joining United, scored in the 50th and 67th minutes after Abdoulaye Faye had given the Lions of Teranga the lead in the 20th. Flavio finished Senegal off in the 77th.

Centre of attention: Manucho celebrates his double with delighted Angola team-mates

Manucho scored with a powerful header and an opportunist finish from close range to improve to three goals in the tournament.

Nsimba Baptista crossed from the right and Manucho rose at the back post to beat goalkeeper Tony Sylva and score with a header for the second straight match. He got his second goal following a scramble in the penalty area.

Senegal's poor defending from crosses allowed Flavio to score with another superb header and take Angola to the brink of the knockout stages for the first time.
