Manchester City set to face competition from both Milan giants for Barca star Ronaldinho

"It is a derby on the transfer market," he said. "(Inter director Marco) Branca informs me of every telephone call that happens. I believe this operation (to sign Ronaldinho) will be done," Galliani told reporters.
Ronaldinho, 28, has been strongly linked with a move to the Rossoneri since his brother and agent, Roberto de Assis, was seen meeting with Galliani in Italy last week.

Brazil international Ronaldinho has been linked with a move to either AC Milan, Inter Milan, Chelsea or Manchester City
De Assis was also a visitor to Eastlands at the weekend as Manchester City also put themselves forward as a potential destination for the unhappy Brazilian.
City manager Sven Goran Eriksson admitted he would love to buy Ronaldinho.
He said: "It was the first time I had heard such a thing, so I really hope it is true. We would be able to find a place in our team for him, I can guarantee that."
The declared interest from clubs of the stature of the Milan giants does however make a move to England's north-west seem a less likely prospect.
Meanwhile Galliani also repeated that the door was open for Chelsea's Andriy Shevchenko to return to Milan.
AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi said recently: "I want to bring him (Shevchenko) back to Milan and it is very likely I'll achieve it," he said.
