Marvin set to strike out

Marvin Williams hopes another goal away to Notts County tonight will convince Brentford manager Andy Scott to play him as a striker.

The 21-year-old has been used on the right wing following his summer move from Yeovil. But the former Millwall player, who was on target in the defeat to Luton in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy last week, wants a regular starting berth up front.

Williams said: "I like to think I did enough against Luton to get into the back of the gaffer's head.

"I always said I feel I will be a striker in the future. It's the position I played when I was young."
