On the move: Sorensen could be set for a switch to Teesside

He has told Wolfsburg and another unnamed Bundesliga side he is not interested in a move to Germany.

But with Middlesbrough's Mark Schwarzer out injured, he could revive his flagging Premier League career on Teesside.

Villa defender Olof Mellberg, a target for Juventus, AC Milan and Roma, is to re-open contract talks.
