Milan vice president insist Arsenal striker Adebayor is their prime summer target

AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani insists Emmanuel Adebayor is the Serie A club's sole transfer target this summer, ruling out moves for rumoured targets Samuel Eto'o and Didier Drogba.
The Rossoneri are currently being linked with a host of attacking players following the departure of Alberto Gilardino to Fiorentina and serious injury to Ronaldo.
Galliani revealed at the beginning of June Chelsea star Drogba, Barcelona forward Eto'o, Tottenham's Dimitar Berbatov and Stuttgart's Mario Gomez were all on Milan's wish list along with Arsenal forward Adebayor.
Italian giants AC Milan want to sign Arsenal forward Emmanuel Adebayor this summer
But now the Milan vice president claims the club will put all their efforts into convincing Arsenal to part with their Togo forward, insisting "if he doesn't come nobody will".
'One single player interests us and that is Sheyi Emmanuel Adebayor,' Galliani was quoted as saying in L'Equipe.
'If he doesn't come then nobody will come and we will keep the team as it is in attack.'
Arsenal are reluctant to part with their star forward, who last season found the net 30 times in 48 outings.
But Galliani was adamant the Italian club will continue to chase Adebayor until they are convinced they can do no more to persuade Arsenal to sell.
'We are in negotiations with Arsenal, who are not willing to sell at the moment,' he continued.
'We'll see how far we can get with our offer. If the English club still don't
want to sell, then too bad.'
The player himself has repeatedly committed his future to London club.
