Milan's Ancelotti still hopes to persuade Ronaldinho to snub Manchester City

AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti believes he can still tempt Barcelona playmaker Ronaldinho to snub a big money move to Manchester City and join the Italian giants.
Barca president Joan Laporta revealed this week the Catalans were evaluating two 'interesting' offers for the 28-year-old Brazilian - one from City and the other believed to be from Milan.
Laporta suggested Ronaldinho was leaning toward City but Ancelotti said: 'The important thing is to have champions and Ronaldinho without a doubt is one of
them.'
Ronaldinho
The arrival of Ronaldinho would be a big boost for Milan, who have failed to make a major signing so far this summer.
The Rossoneri are aiming to bounce back from a disappointing campaign which saw
them finish fifth in the Serie A standings and fail to qualify for the Champions League.
Milan will compete in the less glamorous UEFA Cup next season.
Ancelotti admitted: 'To be out of the Champions League is a hard blow so we will do everything to return to the competition as soon as possible.
'Quality is our trademark and it will continue to be whether Ronaldinho arrives or not.
'Our aim is as usual to win while providing a good show. This is Milan.'
