Monaghan’s drop of magic wrecks the Rovers revival plan

Michael Monaghan's 73rd minute drop-goal gave them a dramatic 29-28 win after Rovers had roared back into the game.
Drop of magic: Monaghan sealed Warrington's win
Australia's NRL Grand Final winners Melbourne Storm watched the game ahead of their world club challenge against Leeds on Friday.
Ashley Klein will be the referee at Elland Road but he did not impress Warrington coach Paul Cullen here. 'To say we are not happy with the penalty count against us is the understatement of the year,' he said.
'We were in full control of the game when we scored 28 points and then somebody pulled the plug.
'It's hard to take any satisfaction the way the game turned out.' But at least Warrington went home with the two points, leaving Rovers coach Justin Morgan frustrated after seeing his team match their opponents' five tries. 'We didn't ask enough of Warrington in the first half and you can't expect to win when you go 28 points down,' he said.
Tries from Martin Gleeson, Paul Johnson, Ben Westwood and two from Chris Hicks put Warrington in control.
Jake Webster, Ben Cockayne, Ben Fisher, Kris Welham and Daniel Fitzhenry hit back for Rovers before Monaghan intervened.

A five-star show from Kevin Brown paved the way for Huddersfield's first win of the season —64-12 at home to Castleford. He created tries for Rod Jenson, Steve Snitch, Shane Elford and Paul Whatuira and even went over himself during a dazzling first-half spell.
In the second half, Chris Thorman, Jamahl Lolesi (2), Whatuari, Keith Mason, Luke Robinson and Andy Raleigh completed the 12-try humiliation. Thorman also landed eight goals. Castleford managed tries from Peter Lupton and Michael Wainwright.
