More misery for Marek as injury means Czech misses start of Reading's season

Reading have suffered a setback in their bid to bounce back to the Barclays Premier League after Czech Republic midfielder Marek Matejovsky was ruled out of the start of next season.

The 26-year-old will be sidelined for two months after damaging ankle ligaments during the Czechs' Euro 2008 exit at the hands of Turkey on Sunday.
