Yet defeat to Catalans Dragons and a narrow Challenge Cup victory over Co-operative National League Castleford have slowed Bradford's flying start to the campaign.
Morrison is now finding out just how tough the British game can be and he expects no respite as the Bulls kick off the Easter programme with a blockbusting home derby against Leeds.
"It's been great so far," the 30-year-old said of his first two months in Super League. "We've got a good bunch of blokes, a good coach and everyone is positive and enjoying themselves, me included.
"It's made it easier for me moving over here. I've fitted in well and we're winning games, which makes it easier for me, and I've got a couple of tries too.
"We've got good strength across the park and I couldn't really pinpoint one weapon. Everyone's working together as a side and pushing in the right direction.
"I don't think we did too much wrong against Catalans. We weren't on our best game but with the level of competition this year everyone is pretty equal.
"If you just slacken off and one or two players aren't on the money you're going to lose the game. We know we've got a few things to improve but nothing major.
"Leeds are going to be tough. It's a big derby and both sides want to win. We're both at the top and we want to stay there."
The Rhinos lost two of their opening five Super League matches but have won their last two to join the Bulls at the top - and they also enjoyed a comfortable cup win over Workington a week ago.
The two sides, along with second-placed Wakefield, are separated only on points difference but the winners at Odsal can take the outright lead.
Leeds captain Kevin Sinfield is also bracing himself for a difficult game and sees Morrison and fellow new signing David Solomona as potential dangermen.
"I think he's been outstanding for them and possibly their best player this year," Sinfield said of Morrison.
"I've seen a bit of him and I watched a little of him in Australia as well. I think he's a great addition to the squad, along with David Solomona.
"They've been great for Bradford. Those two are big players for them and ones we'll have to keep our eyes on.
"But they are full of internationals and are coached very well. They have got some very skilful players, giant wingers, giant everything.
"We realise Steve McNamara has done a great job there and they've got some fantastic players as well."
An 18,000 crowd is expected for a game that will begin a busy Easter weekend over which all clubs will play twice.
The Bulls are back in action at Wakefield on Monday and Leeds host Wigan on Tuesday in matches which also act as dress rehearsals for Challenge Cup fifth-round ties.
Bulls coach McNamara expects to have loose forward Jamie Langley, who signed a new contract yesterday, and full-back Michael Platt back after injury. Winger Lesley Vainikolo and hooker Terry Newton are also hoping to prove their fitness.
The Rhinos are set to welcome back Brent Webb, Keith Senior and Gareth Ellis after all three missed the Workington encounter to rest minor injuries.
