Spanish midfielder Borja Valero - who has been interesting manager Rafa Benitez - Argentinian striker Oscar Trejo and Portuguese defender Nunes all impressed during a pre-season friendly at The Hawthorns on Saturday.

However, Mowbray would only say: ‘Transfer speculation will go on for the next three weeks. We can talk about every player, some are yes some are no.’
