Everton manager David Moyes has revealed he is looking to add as many as six new players to his squad.
Moyes has failed to bring any new faces to Goodison Park yet this summer and has only managed to turn Steven Pienaar’s loan into a permanent deal.
However the Scotsman has told fans he is targeting a host of new signings before the transfer window slams shut.
Spending plans: Everton manager David Moyes is targeting six new players.
Moyes said: We need to bring in five or six players and we haven’t brought in anybody yet.
“So we need to be quite busy and we can be in the coming weeks. But we will look to go right up to the end of the window like everyone else.
'We are missing bodies and we have injured players unavailable.
'I’ve been telling everybody this all summer that the numbers are short and we have injuries, which may or not be fit for the start of The Premier League – everybody is aware of that.'
