Murray facing fever dilemma

Andy Murray will have medical tests at the National Tennis Centre at Roehampton tomorrow to discover if he faces a long spell out with illness.

The British No1 pulled out of the Dubai International on Wednesday with a recurrence of the glandular fever-like virus that undermined his Australian Open challenge last month and could miss next week's Davis Cup tie.

If the diagnosis is positive, rest will be the only cure for Murray (above) who said: "I will see how I react to the antibiotics and give it my best shot to get ready. The doctor says I need a week, 10 days to start feeling better again and I'll just see. You never know with these things. Sometimes you can recover more quickly than other times."
