My Arsenal team-mate Van Persie could ruin Spain's chances, admits Fabregas

Cesc Fabregas fears his Arsenal team-mate Robin van Persie could eventually wreck Spain’s dream of winning Euro 2008.
Van Persie’s Holland play Romania tonight having sealed top spot in Group C thanks to superb victories over Italy and France.
Spain have also chalked back-to-back wins to guarantee they will top Group D and set up a quarter-final against one of the World Cup finalists or Romania.
Fears behind the smiles: Spain's Cesc Fabregas is worried Robin van Persie will prove a thorn in Spain's side.
Victory would lead to a semi-final against the Dutch, providing they win their knockout tie against either Sweden or Russia.
Fabregas said: “If we were to play Holland, it would be a tough game.
“To be honest, I wouldn’t want to play against Robin because he’s such a good player and Holland are playing very, very well.
"But we’ll see what happens. First we have to finish our group tomorrow against Greece and take it game by game.”
Fabregas also hailed Van Persie’s contribution when he came on as substitute to score in a 4-1 defeat of France.
“I was so pleased for him,” said Fabregas.
“He’s not been fit all season and it’s been so tough for him.
"So I am very happy to see him play and score. It’s also good news for
Arsenal that he is playing well.”
