Neil Warnock hits out at his misfiring stars

Neil Warnock slammed his shot-shy Crystal Palace side after their winless run stretched to six games at Southampton.

The Eagles slumped to a 1-0 defeat thanks to David McGoldrick's well-struck goal.

Warnock said: "We could have played all night and not come anywhere near scoring a goal."

The boss, meanwhile, claimed he would be "shocked" if the FA decide to punish defender Claude Davis for his challenge on Cardiff's Roger Johnson last Saturday.

Bluebirds chairman Peter Ridsdale has called for an official investigation into the incident but Warnock said: "I'll be shocked if the FA look at it."
