New boss Scolari confirms John Terry as captain of his 'beautiful football' side

Blues boss: Luiz Felipe Scolari is unveiled as the new Chelsea manager

Luis Felipe Scolari has confirmed that John Terry will remain Chelsea captain under his stewardship.

Speaking at his first press conference in the Chelsea job, former Brazil and Portugal boss Big Phil rvealed that Terry would be his captain, with Lampard his deputy.

Scolari also revealed that in the past he voted for the centre-back and striker Didier Drogba for FIFA's world player of the year award.

Scolari also insisted he would be happy to discuss playing matters with club owner Roman Abramovich - but was adamant he would not succumb to demands for 'beautiful' football if it got in the way of winning.

'We will try to play beautiful football,' said Scolari. 'But sometimes, if you want to win some games, you do not play beautiful.'
