Newcastle's £7million signing Gutierrez will make his debut for the Magpies
Newcastle's new signing Jonas Gutierrez is set to make his debut at Hartlepool.
Toon boss Kevin Keegan has promised to take a strong squad to face their League One neighbours in their first summer pre-season friendly.
And the £7 million Argentina international is expected to star with fellow new signing Danny Guthrie in the game, which is part of Hartlepool's centenary celebrations.
Keegan said: `I'm really looking forward to it. We've had two weeks now and the players are ready for a match.
'I will field a very strong team. I will take all of my players who are fit but I won't take any gambles with any players who we don't think are quite fit or have got slight problems.`
'We've got two or three, like you always do at this time of year, who we've pulled out of training as a precaution.
'I'll take three or four youngsters and I'll give them a chance as well at some stage whether that be 10 or 15 minutes.'
