Next stop Wembley for Albion's Clement after finding favour again
02 April 2008
Clement was worried he had played his last game for the club when he was shipped out on loan to Hull last month following long-term knee problems.
But the former Chelsea defender was recalled last week and played the full 90 minutes of Albion's game at Cardiff on Tuesday.
And his man-of-the-match display in the goalless draw at Ninian Park has all but secured his starting place at Wembley.
Clement said: 'I'm feeling ready for it. Everyone is itching to play in that game.
'Chances like this don't come along very often and if I get the shout I will do my very best. I can't say I'm not up for it, that's for sure.
'I'm feeling great now and it is really good to pull on an Albion shirt again.
'Going to Hull let me test my knee out and I came through it really well. There is always a doubt in your mind but I was absolutely fine.'
