Both Boro boss Gareth Southgate and Sunderland's Roy Keane are tempted to test Pompey's resolve with a £5million bid, according to the Sunday Mirror.

Tottenham have also tracked former Luton left-back Taylor, who hit the back of the net nine times last season.
