N'Zogbia tells 'dream team' Arsenal and 'exciting' Spurs - come and get me

Newcastle winger Charles N'Zogbia, upset at being overlooked by manager Kevin Keegan towards the end of last season, is angling for a move to London, with Arsenal or Tottenham his preferred destinations.

He said: 'I have dreamed about playing for Arsenal ever since I was a little kid. I would be delighted to join the Gunners.

'They are a big club that everybody knows about, but Tottenham are an interesting proposition as well.'

Quite what fans of the two clubs will make of his ambivalence remains to be seen - perhaps someone should have told him about their fierce rivalry.

N'Zogbia added: 'I have been four years at Newcastle. They are the club who gave me my debut in professional football and I feel good there. But the end of last season, when I did not play very much, made me want to move.'
