Penalty king Zokora willing to go extra 12 yards to net his first goal for Spurs

Didier Zokora has got an eye for goal at the moment, and he is hoping to officially net for the first time in a Spurs shirt this season - even though he knows he missed out on a great chance to break his duck last term.
Desperate to score: Zokora
The midfielder was denied by Petr Cech twice when clean through on goal in the dying minutes of regular time in the Carling Cup Final against Chelsea in February.
But the Ivory Coast international did find the net for his country in a recent World Cup qualifier and that was in addition to the penalty he scored for Spurs in the UEFA Cup shoot-out with PSV Eindhoven last season.
If he does not have any better luck in open play next season, Didier suggests he may well stake a claim for penalty duty.
He told the official Tottenham website: 'Of course I want to score for Spurs but it doesn't always go for you. Like in the final, I was surprised when Cech appeared off his line and I'm not used to being in that position.
'I can't count the penalty against PSV as my first Spurs goal, but maybe if we get a penalty next season, I might ask the guys to let me take it!'
