PICTURE SPECIAL: Life's a beach for United boss Sir Alex Ferguson

With Ronaldo's future still in the balance and unlikely to be resolved until after the European Championships, his Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson travels to his usual retreat in the South of France.
It's good to talk: As long as the person on the other end doesn't ask what Fergie is wearing. Sunday papers suggested Ronaldo was ignoring his club manager and if the Portugal winger has video calls, who can blame him?
A Scot abroad: None of that foreign muck for Ferguson, the Red Devils manager plays it safe with a cheese and ham toastie
Thirsty work: Ferguson looks serious as he tries to work out what made him put his hat on backwards in the first place (see top picture above)
One for the album: Definitely the pick of the bunch
Hat's not funny: Somebody waits until he falls asleep before putting Fergie's cap on backwards again. But a hairdryer could be on the cards when the United boss sees the snaps with the guilty party failing to get out of the shot in time
