Plymouth's Timar suffered 'serious' head injury during Wolves clash

Plymouth manager Paul Sturrock revealed midfielder Krisztian Timar was taken to hospital after sustaining what looked to be a serious head injury against Wolves.

Hungarian international Timar was caught by Wolves' midfielder Seyi Olofinjana toward the end of the Pilgrims' 1-0 defeat at Molineux and had to be carried off on a stretcher.

And although Sturrock refused to speculate on the nature of the injury, he did admit it 'did not look good'.

The Scot explained: "We don't know how serious it is but it doesn't look good.

"It would be very unprofessional for me to try to guess what it is so we will wait and see what the specialists come back with."
