Poland coach urges Celtic's Boruc to leave Parkhead to prove himself

Poland's goalkeeping coach Franz Hoek has urged Celtic goalkeeper Artur Boruc to quit the SPL to fulfil his full potential.
Hoek said: 'In terms of ability, Artur deserves to be spoken about in the same breath as the likes of Spain's Iker Casillas or Holland's Edwin van der Sar, whom I worked with for a number of years at Ajax.
Top stopper: Celtic goalkeeper Artur Boruc needs a new challenge says Hoek
'All the great goalkeepers are characterised by the fact they don't make errors when it really counts, when the pressure upon them is intense - and Boruc is in that category.
'During the European Championships, he didn' t make any mistakes and now people rate him as world class.
'However, in order to really be considered among the best, you must prove yourself every week against top opposition in Spain, England, Italy or Germany.
'It would be fantastic for Artur to be competing at that level on a regular basis and that's the challenge he needs.
'If I was in his skin, I would be looking for the next challenge. Perhaps he has achieved all he can in Glasgow and it may be a good time because the interest in him has grown.'
