Pompey have an option to buy the Czech Republic star who is set to spearheadhis country's attack in the Euro 2008 finals this summer but he has not scoredin 16 appearances - seven as a sub - for Harry Redknapp's team. And Portsmouth chief executive Peter Storrie admitted: "We also need to lookat the future of other players and see where we go, but Davis and Lauren aresome of the ones I will also discuss with the manager next week."The problem is that until players say whether they want to stay or go youcan't totally judge how many to bring in."We look at those type of things first and then we start work on the playerswe will bring in."Kanu, who is entitled to a further year's extension of his contract aftermaking more than 20 appearances this season, has yet to put pen to paper.Storrie said: "He's had the papers, it is completely up to him whether hesigns."Kanu, 31, has verbally pledged his immediate future to Pompey but must be awarethe club are keen to recruit Peter Crouch from Liverpool - despite the Anfieldclub's £15 million valuation of the England striker - and pair him with£7million signing Jermain Defoe next term.Meanwhile Storrie and Redknapp are due to sit down with assistant manager TonyAdams next week after the former Arsenal defender indicated he would be preparedto sign a new deal as number two for next season.
