Portsmouth veteran Linvoy Primus will train at David Beckham's Los Angeles Galaxy as he completes his rehabilitation from knee surgery.
The 34-year-old defender will have the use of the Major League Soccer club's facilities after taking up an offer to link up with former Pompey masseur Chris Neville, who now works for the Galaxy.
Primus missed the whole of last season - and so the chance of an FA Cup winners' medal - after an operation on a potentially career-threatening knee injury.

On the mend: Primus (right) is relishing pre-season
But Pompey have rewarded him for his virtual ever-present role in their ninth-placed Premier League finish of 2007 and escape from relegation the previous season with an additional year's contract.
The popular former Reading and Barnet centre-half said: "I'm going out to Los Angeles to get a good week's work under my belt.
"There's no problem with the knee. It's just a nice place to go to focus on getting it completely right.
"I've been working at the same intensity and keeping the strength in my legs since the end of the season and it's important to me that I'm as ready as the rest of the lads when I join in with pre-season training."
