Potter agonising over McGuire final decision
20 August 2007
Catalans coach Mick Potter faces an agonising decision over stand off Casey McGuire in the run-up to his club's first Carnegie Challenge Cup Final appearance.
McGuire, who tore a pectoral muscle a fortnight ago, will have another scan on Tuesday but the odds are against him facing St Helens at Wembley on Saturday.

Potter said: 'Casey will want to play and it's hard for an individual to put the team first when he might be missing out on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
'He has a slight chance but I don't want to go into the final with a player who is not 100 per cent.'
Catalans' prop David Ferriol escaped an RFL hearing after being put 'on report' during the game at Warrington.
Saints have no injury worries, apart from long-term casualty Paul Sculthorpe, and coach Daniel Anderson may even name his starting line-up today. Glenn Morrison and Tame Tupou of Bradford and Huddersfield's Keith Mason have been called up before the RFL disciplinary committee on Tuesday.
