Set to quit: Jaaskelainen
Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham have all been linked with the Finland international in the past and there will be plenty of interest in recruiting his shot-stopping talents around the Premier League.
Jaaskelainen's agent Peter Harrison expects the goalkeeper to leave England, however, with Inter Milan a possible destination.
"There are no talks planned with Bolton and various agents and clubs have been in touch with me from abroad and we will assess it in January," Harrison said.
"We are very disappointed with the way talks went but we will just have to get on. I think he will be leaving at the end of the season, I don't think he will leave midway through the season."
Arsenal defender Justin Hoyte is determined to stay at the Emirates Stadium, despite finding his opportunities limited this season.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to Fulham at the turn of the year after losing his place at right-back to Bacary Sagna.
Hoyte has only featured only three times for the Gunners in the current campaign but he insists he will stay to fight for his place.
"Of course, I want to stay at the club and fight," he said. "I want to be an Arsenal player. You never know what can happen in football. But I know I am going to knuckle down, train hard, work hard and perform when I get my chance.
"It is tough at the moment because the team is doing so well, and a few players are not getting into the team. It's up to us to take our chance if there is an injury. It is frustrating, but I am a professional and need to behave that way and focus on the job in hand."
Chelsea striker Didier Drogba will be a top summer target for Real Madrid if he fall out with the Stamford Bridge hierarchy over his wishes to represent Ivory Coast in the Beijing Olympics but Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor has dismissed talk of a move to Arsenal as he wants to stay at his hometown club.
Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp has his sights set on a £10m move for Liverpool striker Peter Crouch while Reading are interested in a move for Bolton's right midfielder Stelios Giannakopoulos.
Rumour of the day: Rafa Benitez may have second thoughts about allowing Scott Carson join Aston Villa for £10million if the goalkeeper turns in an accomplished performance for England tonight against Croatia.
No chance: Reading boss Steve Coppell says he was interested in and Coventry striker Michael Mifsud when he was a free agent - but not anymore with a £5m asking price.
