QPR in talks over Taylor after City tell him he can go

Taylor, who joined Blues from Blackburn in the January 2004 transfer window, played a major part in City regaining their Premier League status last May.
The 28-year-old was rewarded with a new three-year contract by the then manager Steve Bruce but has fallen well down the pecking order during the current campaign.
Taylor has spent the last month on loan at Norwich but QPR are also interested in signing the player and are holding talks with the midlands club.
McLeish said: "I have spoken to Martin and he is down the pecking order. I have said if the right club comes in for him, it will be time for him to move on.
"He has done well for Norwich and helped them climb off the bottom of the Championship with his performances for them.
"I think there are one or two clubs interested in Martin who is weighing them up. I believe QPR are in the hunt."
Meanwhile Birmingham midfielder Damien Johnson is in line for his first league start of the season against Reading at St Andrews on Saturday.
The Northern Ireland international has been dogged by various hamstring problems for the majority of 2007.
But he is poised to come back into the first 11 in place of Mehdi Nafti who will have to serve a one-game suspension for incurring five bookings.
McLeish said: "Damien will come back into our thoughts. He has trained really hard and has obtained a pretty good level of fitness. He's in the running for a starting slot.
"Damien has got good experience and is an all-action type of player. We need those types in the squad and, if called upon, he will not let anyone down."
McLeish, however, has to decide who will skipper the side against the Royals if Johnson is included.
He was skipper last season but in his absence Liam Ridgewell has led Birmingham during the first half of the current campaign.
McLeish said: "The captaincy is not something I have thought about. We have got Liam doing it on the pitch and Jonty is the club captain.
"I don't know how it works in terms of protocol. I will have a think about it and talk to the lads in due course before Saturday."
On-loan Arsenal defender Johan Djourou is again doubtful because of a hip injury. He was also unavailable for last weekend's defeat at Newcastle.
