One likely departure from White Hart Lane is likely to be Tottenham winger Wayne Routledge.

Queens Park Rangers have bid £1.8m for the 23-year-old although Spurs are holding out for £3m with Birmingham and West Brom also interested.

Routledge has failed to make an impact at White Hart Lane, starting just three games since he made the move from Crystal Palace three years ago.

Meanwhile Michael Dawson believes tonight's FA Cup third-round replay at Reading gives his team-mates a quick chance to get Saturday's league defeat at Chelsea out of their system.

The defender said confidence was high before Juliano Belletti's 30-yard effort and an 80th-minute strike from Shaun Wright-Phillips deflated them at Stamford Bridge.

But Dawson is now focused on progressing to the next round of the cup at the expense of Steve Coppell's men.

The first tie at White Hart Lane ended in a 2-2 draw and Dawson said: "We've got to move on, the games are coming thick and fast and we have a chance to put the Chelsea defeat right on Tuesday.

"We can't go into Reading thinking about what happened at Chelsea, so we'll move on - we know what a massive game this is and what the FA Cup means to everyone at Spurs."
