Queally loves his 'Ferrari'

But as he takes on rivals who include unbeaten Saamidd, winner of the Champagne Stakes at Doncaster last month, and impressive Middle Park Stakes winner Dream Ahead, Queally insists that he wouldn't swap Frankel - his 'Ferrari' - for anything.
The Henry Cecil-trained colt is odds-on to land the seven-furlong Group One event at Newmarket, having demolished his rivals by 10 lengths in the Royal Lodge Stakes at Ascot. He is also as short as 2-1 favourite for next season's 2,000 Guineas.
"Frankel's a very special horse. What he has shown at the age of two has been a little bit above the ordinary," Queally said. "In the last couple of years we've seen a few two-year-olds who have looked superb but they've turned out to be too good to be true.
"Although he has to mature, given Frankel's breeding you would expect him to develop into a top three-year-old. He's obviously a physically imposing colt and he has done everything with great ease from day one - he's like a Ferrari against Morris Minors."
Frankel takes a step up in class and a drop back in trip on Saturday but Queally is adamant that the son of Galileo will handle the test.
He added: "We didn't find out a lot about him at Doncaster when he beat two others and there wasn't a great pace at Ascot.
"There will be more runners and the pace is sure to be quicker on Saturday. It will make things interesting.
"He ticks all the right boxes, though. I wouldn't swap him for anything. Let's just hope I feel the same way about him next week. Whatever happens, it's a hell of a race - it is great for racing."
