Radzinski joins Fulham exodus

Striker Tomasz Radzinski has been released by Fulham manager Lawrie Sanchez as the former Northern Ireland boss begins his summer restructuring at Craven Cottage.

The Canada international, 33, joined the Cottagers from Everton in 2004 and made over 100 appearances.

Radzinski was signed as a forward but has also played in midfield during his time with the club.

He joins Claus Jensen in being released by Sanchez and, like the Danish midfielder, Radzinski rejected an extended deal at Craven Cottage earlier in the season.

He scored three goals this season, with league strikes against Arsenal and West Ham and another in the 3-0 FA Cup win over Stoke.

Jensen left the club last week after claiming he had no future under Sanchez's "long-ball" tactics.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Mark Crossley, who spent part of the season on loan at Sheffield Wednesday, and Welsh midfielder Mark Pembridge have also been released after failing to gain new contracts.

Wayne Routledge, Jan Lastuvka and Vincenzo Montella, who were on loan at Craven Cottage this season, have all been returned to their parent clubs.
