Rafa tracking Guinea star

Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez is keen to boost his foreign contingent with a move for St Etienne's Pascal Feindouno.

Guinea captain Feindouno, 26, is an attacking midfielder who has scored 30 goals in 103 games for the French club.

Saint-Etienne's Guinean midfielder Pascal Feindouno (L) vies with Marseille's Nigerian defender Taye Taiwo during their French L1 match

He started his career at Bordeaux and scored the goal which won them the French league in 1999.

He has been attracting interest from some of Europe's top clubs and Benitez wants to head off interest with a deal in January.
