Ramos set to make tasty first signing

Juande Ramos hopes to make a tasty first appointment for Tottenham - by recruiting nutrition expert Antonio Escribano.

The new Spurs boss worked with the doctor at his previous club, Spanish side Sevilla.

The University of Seville professor will hold talks over joining the medical team as a consultant after Sunday's Premier League clash against Wigan.

Escribano, aged 56, told The Sun: "We will talk to see how to arrange things.

"It's difficult for me to be there permanently because I am a professor in the university and I also work with five clubs in Spain."
