Ramos warns United and Chelsea: Only £31m record bid will tempt Spurs to sell Berba

Chelsea and United are both interested in buying the Bulgaria international this month, especially now that his agent Emil Dantchev claims the striker wants to quit White Hart Lane.
Ramos is desperate to keep the 26-yearold, who cost £10.9m when he joined from Bayer Leverkusen in 2006, and showed all his qualities when scoring four goals in the 6-4 win over Reading last Saturday.
Chelsea paid £30.8m to sign Andriy Shevchenko from AC Milan 18 months ago to set a new record fee in this country, but the Spurs manager insists Berbatov is worth more than the Ukraine international.
Ramos said: "The player has a value which is more than what Chelsea paid for Shevchenko. He's a very important player for us and we don't want to sell him. "Everyone has a price but Tottenham don't want to sell the player.
"It's normal for a club to pay that sort of money because there are very few players at his level.
"Of all the players competing in the Champions League at the moment, the only one of that quality who is not there is Berbatov.
"There are very few players like him so people should understand the amount of money being talked about.
"Our intention is not to sell and the final decision rests with the club — that is certainly my message."
Ramos is adamant Berbatov is happy to stay at the club and won't cause a negative effect on the team with all the speculation going on.
He added: "I have spoken to him on a number of occasions and he is happy to be here. As a professional player he has to look at all of his possibilities but Tottenham is the club for him."
