Rangers, City and Sunderland old boy Reyna hangs up boots

Former Manchester City, Rangers and Sunderland midfielder Claudio Reyna has
announced his retirement from professional football due to persistent injuries.

Reyna - capped 112 times by the USA - played just 27 times for Red Bull New
York in two MLS seasons after leaving City in 2007.

The 35-year-old said: 'While I am sad to be leaving professional soccer, I am
also excited about what lies ahead and hope that I can give back to the sport as
much as it's given to me.'
