Rangers in the hunt for Vine

Queens Park Rangers are bidding to sign Birmingham City's out-of-favour striker Rowan Vine on-loan.

Vine, 24, has never held down a regular place in the plans of Birmingham manager Steve Bruce following his £2.5m move to St Andrew's from Luton Town in January.

He has made just one appearance so far this season and is behind Mikael Forssell, Garry O'Connor and Cameron Jerome in the pecking order.
