Reading chairman Madejski fears he will struggle to find a buyer if club are relegated

The Royals must beat Derby on Sunday in their final Premier League game, and hope Fulham fail to win at Portsmouth.

Reading chairman John Madejski will be desperate for the club to stay up as the Premier League comes to a dramatic conclusion on Sunday

Madejski said: "I don't want to start talking about recriminations, but everyone here has to take responsibility for what has happened.

"You have more chance of selling in the Premier League than in the Championship. If the unthinkable happens, the opportunity, that moment, might be gone.

"But, no, I won't walk away. There would have to be cutbacks, of course, and we would have to do our best to emerge again."
