Rebel Koumas joins Wigan
10 July 2007
Koumas, 27, who once went on strike after a fall-out with former Albion boss Bryan Robson, had threatened to withdraw his labour again over the weekend after learning the move was threatened by West Bromwich's efforts to add £1m to the fee.

Getting his way: Jason Koumas
Fined several times during a turbulent stay, Koumas relented when the two clubs reached agreement.
After signing a four-year contract, the former Tranmere player expressed his relief at returning to the north-west.
"It's great to be joining a club so close to home, rather than spending two hours driving to the Midlands. When you get to my age you want to test yourself against the better players and teams."
Blackburn are lining up a move for Henri Camara while Jason Roberts is expected to join Fulham for £3.5m.
