Hot: Brazil's Robinho with trademark celebration after scoring against Chile
Manchester City's record signing Robinho may have to settle for a place on the substitutes' bench against Chelsea on Saturday
Boss Mark Hughes Hughes is reluctant to thrust the 24-year-old Brazilian, who snubbed Chelsea in favour of a £32.5m move to Eastlands from Real Madrid on deadline day, into the Premier League clash just 24 hours after he is due to return from international duty in South America.
Robinho scored in Sunday's 3-0 victory over Chile and is expected to start against Bolivia, which kicks off at 2am British time on Thursday.
City's new owners, the Abu Dhabi United Group, have arranged to fly Robinho and his team-mates, Elano and Jo, to Manchester on a private jet after the game but they are not expected to arrive back until Friday morning.
