Red-faced Berbatov forced to return to pre-season training with Spurs

Dimitar Berbatov returns to pre-season training today nearly two months after believing he'd played his last game for Tottenham.
Still at Spurs: Berbatov wants to leave though
It's a humiliating prospect for the Bulgaria striker who has been linked with moves to Manchester United, AC Milan, Barcelona and Real Madrid all summer.
But the 27-year-old will be at Chigwell today with his clubmates but Spurs have not yet received a single firm offer - the club's £25million asking price appears to have scared off the Europeans, while they are demanding £10m on top to sell to a Premier League rival.
Berbatov has netted 27 goals in 69 Premier League games for Tottenham but initially fell out of favour with new manager Juande Ramos before regaining his place in the second half of the season.
Spurs are also standing firm over Berbatov's strike partner Robbie Keane. Liverpool are offering £5m and Peter Crouch and while Tottenham fancy the England forward they want at least £10m plus Crouch.
