He also handles his unbeaten son, the WBO super-middleweight king, and Swansea's Enzo Maccarinelli, who defends his WBO world cruiserweight belt on the same show against an opponent still to be named.

Calzaghe has handled the trio from junior amateur level and, as professionals, his fighters have amassed 95 wins between them against only one defeat, early in Maccarinelli's career.

Calzaghe said: "I don't think anyone in the world has three world champions in the same stable and that's a real possibility with Gavin.

"It's not about me, it's about what I can give my fighters, but I do feel proud of their achievements."
